Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating management of multiple programs and project operations, managing cross-functional teams, developing project plans, ensuring programs are executed on time and within budget, and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance program effectiveness.Does this position require Patient Care? NoEssential Function-Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple programs and projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives. -Implement programs aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. -Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges associated with programs and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. -Monitor program progress and proactively address any deviations from plans, timelines, or budgets. -Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure programs are delivered within financial constraints. -Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing program management team members, providing guidance and support to achieve high performance. -Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Qualifications

The MGB AMC Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM) Program Manager of Education is responsible for overseeing all educational courses run by the division. This role identifies and deploys resources across DGIM educational programs, including—but not limited to—annually held CME courses (currently 6 including Updates in Hospital Medicine) and recurring weekly or routine conferences (e.g., weekly conferences for HMU and DGIM across both AMCs). The Program Manager supervises team members, interfaces with course directors and vendors, oversees CME accreditation, ensures programs remain within budget, and identifies opportunities to increase revenue when feasible.
