Responsible for the reliability, performance, security and continuous improvement of the company's enterprise network infrastructure. This role leads a team of network and telecommunications engineering staff, ensuring 24x7 availability of critical network services that support business operations across the corporate office, data centers, cloud environments, service center locations and remote workforce.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of network and telecommunications engineering staff, including on-call coverage and performance management.
  • Manage and coordinate all infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance.
  • Manage availability, performance, and reliability of the enterprise network services (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN, VPN, and Internet).
  • Lead day-to-day network operations including monitoring, incident response, escalation, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage and develop a team of network and telecommunications engineering staff, including on-call coverage and performance management.
  • Ensure Network operations align with enterprise security standards, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Oversee network lifecycle management including upgrades, capacity planning, and technology refresh.
  • Manage vendors, carriers, and service providers, including SLAs, performance reviews, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks, ensuring alignment with disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and financial management for network operations.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of network infrastructure experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with an infrastructure team
  • LAN/WAN design and operations
  • Routing and switching
  • Network monitoring
  • Load balancers, proxies, DNS/DHCP/IPAM services
  • Data center and cloud networking
  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project completion
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communications
