Job Description

OXEA Corporation Company Overview | World leader in Oxo Chemicals

Oxo products are the core competency of OXEA Corporation. We are producing more than 70 oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives for customers in a wide range of industries with various end market applications. Our chemicals are important ingredients in products that are used in daily life around the world. "We" refers to more than 1,200 OXEA employees worldwide. At our plants in Germany, the USA, and China, we produce intermediates and derivatives.

Position Overview

If you are seeking to gain elite, hands-on experience driving human capital strategy within a private equity portfolio environment - a highly sought-after executive capability - this role is for you.

We are a fast-paced, private equity-backed global company laser-focused on business transformation, operational velocity, and sustainable value creation. To support our transformation agenda, we are seeking a commercially minded, data savvy, high-velocity Manager of Talent Management to join our team in Houston.

This is not a traditional, administrative HR role. This is a highly strategic specialist position designed specifically for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) or Talent Specialist who understands how talent directly drives EBITDA and business execution. Operating in a high-impact environment, you will play a key role in designing, operationalizing, and scaling our global talent architecture - including performance management systems, strategic succession planning, global talent calibration and job architecture - as well as culture alignment programs.

Key Responsibilities

Global Talent Architecture & Performance Calibration

  • Deploy Performance Frameworks: Own the design and execution of lean, impact-oriented global performance management processes, ensuring local and international business units align with our strategic PE value-creation metrics.
  • Facilitate Calibration: Lead global talent reviews and robust calibration processes (leveraging 9-box methodology and organizational health indicators) to identify high-potential leaders and mitigate talent flight risks.
  • Actionable Metrics: Leverage advanced talent analytics and diagnostic tools to deliver objective, stress-tested organizational insights to senior leadership.

Global Succession & Capability Development

  • Secure the Leadership Pipeline: Partner across diverse global business units to build, update, and stress-test robust succession plans for critical executive and operational roles.
  • Design Targeted Development: Architect and deliver intentional, high-impact capability programs for high-potential and mid-to-senior level managers, moving past superficial leadership theories toward concrete, commercial execution skills.
  • Cross-Border Support: Act as the primary specialist resource for international regional leadership, ensuring consistent implementation of core talent philosophies while remaining sensitive to local operational nuances.

Change Acceleration & Strategic Alignment

  • Operational Velocity: Collaborate closely with localized HRBPs and business unit leaders to accelerate talent initiatives, keeping organizational capability aligned with aggressive portfolio transaction and growth timelines.
  • Culture of Accountability: Support corporate change initiatives that establish a culture of strong individual accountability, performance transparency, and alignment with corporate strategic priorities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience Background: 5 to 10 years of progressive experience within Human Resources, demonstrating strong achievements as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or as a Specialist inside Talent Management.
  • The Career Pivot: A proven track record as an impactful HR Generalist/HRBP who is looking to pivot, specialize, and master global Talent Management architecture.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business orientation. You understand how corporate strategies translate directly into talent demands and have a bias toward operational clarity. Prior experience in a private equity-backed, matrixed, or global environment is highly preferred.
  • Systematic Execution: Exceptional organization and project management capability. You prioritize robust, straightforward, formulaic solutions over highly complex, bureaucratic HR theories.
  • Influence & Credibility: Strong executive presence and critical thinking. You are comfortable challenging conventional HR assumptions and offering objective, data-backed talent advice to stakeholders.

Why This Role?

  • Direct Succession Pipeline: This role is viewed as the explicit succession pipeline for the top talent specialist seat. You will receive direct mentorship and development coaching from the Head of Talent Management.
  • True Global Impact: Shape the global talent blueprint of an fast-evolving business, gaining deep organizational exposure across international markets.
  • Value Creation Exposure: Gain elite, hands-on experience driving human capital strategy within a private equity portfolio environment, a highly sought-after executive capability.

All Employees are invited to participate regardless of race, sex, age, color, national origin, marital status, religion, disability or veteran status, and any other criterion prescribed by law.

OXEA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, sex, age, color, national origin, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.
