Job Description
Aurelius WaterRise is the dedicated Portfolio Operations team within AURELIUS, a global private equity firm with a 20 year track record of transforming businesses. As our portfolio continues to expand, we are strengthening our U.S. Finance function and seeking a Finance Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving performance, enabling operational excellence, and supporting the growth of our companies under management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the financial onboarding of newly acquired businesses, including:
- Alignment of opening balance sheets
- Integration into monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting structures
- Ensuring consistency with central reporting standards
- Communicate clearly and proactively with both internal and external stakeholders, acting as the bridge between portfolio companies and AURELIUS’ central finance organization
- Work closely with portfolio finance teams, AURELIUS central functions, auditors, and external advisors
- Support the design, execution and tracking of value creation initiatives for the portfolio company to improve EBITDA and Working Capital
- Perform operational due diligence procedures to support company acquisitions
- Support development of cash management and cash flow forecasting tools to monitor the cash performance of the portfolio company
- Prepare or coordinate external advisors with Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) in accordance with US-GAAP
- Support the preparation of Fund audits
- Provide guidance and review on complex accounting topics, ensuring compliance with US‑GAAP (IFRS would be a plus)
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
- Several years of experience in financial advisory, accounting advisory, or transaction-related finance roles
- Strong technical expertise in US-GAAP; experience with IFRS is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with common consolidation tools and group reporting systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels
- Ability and willingness to travel (Moderate to frequently)

- Range: $110-150,000 base salary plus performance bonus.
