Manager Financial Accounting/Reporting/Analysis Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.The Manager Financial Accounting/Reporting/Analysis is responsible for accounting and project teams, in support of the Federal Government Solutions Wellpoint Federal Solutions federal businesses. Oversees a team of general and contract accountants, who are responsible for accurate, timely, and consistent execution of accounting functions, which are critical for ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as well as complying with the complexities of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Performing these functions with precision and excellence supports an accounting system that is approved for federal government contracting.How You Will Make an Impact:

Orchestrating month end close, including review of journal entries and reconciliations, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, and complex and comprehensive analysis of financial results.
