You will serve as the central leader responsible for translating sustaining strategy into execution, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest standards of quality, performance, and customer value.

In this role, you will establish program governance/measurement, oversee requirements and change management processes, manage resource allocation, and drive cross-functional decision-making throughout the product lifecycle. You will act as the primary point of contact for sales/service team, and business partners, facilitating technical trade-offs, resolving complex issues, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment of priorities and execution plans.

Additionally, you will lead and develop high-performing Technical Program Management Engineering (TPME) teams, build scalable operating mechanisms, and implement best practices that improve organizational effectiveness and accelerate product delivery. By combining strategic leadership with strong technical and operational expertise, you will create clarity in ambiguous environments, drive accountability across organizations, and ensure successful execution of both individual programs and broader product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the TPME organization for HVM/Sustaining and EOL programs across the KPUs

  • Establish and govern program execution strategies, development plans, requirements management, and change-control processes
  • Drive alignment across design engineering teams, product management, supply chains, sales/service team and external partners
  • Manage schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and critical milestones throughout the product lifecycle
  • Lead technical reviews, decision-making forums, escalation processes, and executive communications
  • Develop scalable governance frameworks, measurement processes, and operational mechanisms that enable organizational growth and excellence
  • Drive product change management, customer qualifications, and implementation of product changes across various KPU and installed product bases
  • Balance business objectives, customer needs/qualifications, technical complexity, cost, quality, and schedule considerations to achieve successful outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Advanced degree in technical management is desired.
  • 15+ years in technical program management or engineering leadership delivering complex HVM products that combine hardware and software.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners, including experience owning requirements governance and change-request/escalation processes as a primary technical point of contact between organizations
  • Track record delivering integration, validation, and parts release cycles through a full product development lifecycle (concept to production) for complex HVM products.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering change processes, obsolescence programs, lifecycle management, and supplier-driven changes.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and decisions in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder governance structures without direct authority.
  • Experience in executing the same product change implementation for different customers.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in technical communication across the TPME team.
  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and ERP systems (SAP S4 Hana).
  • Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong exposure to Configuration Management (CMII) practices
  • Experience supporting Copy Exact methodology and global manufacturing operations
