Job Summary
As the Manager of Business Services Portfolio Management, this leadership position is responsible for overseeing a team of skilled Portfolio Managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of growth and innovation. The Manager serves as both a leader and an active contributor, maintaining a select portfolio of business members to remain closely connected to frontline operations while executing management responsibilities. With heavy focus on Treasury Management and Deposit Products, this role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, cultivating high team engagement, and aligning departmental initiatives with MACU’s overarching strategic goals.Job Description

Utilize advanced analytics and performance dashboards tomonitorteam outcomes, set ambitious goals aligned with organizational strategy, and drive process re-engineering efforts thatleverageautomation and digital tools tooptimizeefficiency and elevate the member experience.
Act as a strategic escalation resource forhighly complexmember scenarios, employing data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to ensure swift, effective resolutions and exceptional service delivery in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
Maintain oversight of a select portfolio of business members to remain attuned to evolving frontline operational needs, ensuring strategic responsiveness and relevance in member engagement over the next three years.
Serve as the lead relationship manager for assigned accounts, overseeing complex account openings, onboarding processes, and loan origination, while proactively adapting these functions toanticipatedindustry changes and member expectations.
Drive ongoing workflow optimization and standardization initiatives across the team,leveragingemerging technologies and data analytics to enhance efficiency and scalability, positioning the department for sustained growth and adaptability through 2029.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Business Advisors and executive leadership, aligning strategies with the credit union’s long-termobjectivesand ensuring that the team delivers measurable results in a dynamic business environment.
Ensure rigorous compliance with all regulatory requirements (BSA, OFAC, GLBA,NACHAetc.),anticipatingregulatory shifts and proactively updating protocols tomaintainthe highest standards of quality and risk mitigation.
Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the team, instituting regular training, performance reviews, and process audits to support professional development and operational excellence for the future.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience:
Minimum of5years in business relationship management or financial services, withdemonstratedsuccess in handling complex client portfolios and driving strategic outcomes.
Proventrack recordof leading high-impact projects in fast-paced environments is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related fieldor 3additionalcombined years of experience in business banking.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
Project Management certification preferred
Managerial Responsibility
Has supervisor/managerial responsibilities that are direct and through other leaders, typically with a subordinate group of 5 or more employees and multiple organizational and cross-functional teams. Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs. Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff. Recommends candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for staff, and applies company policy.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Demonstratedproficiencywith the Microsoft Office Suite—including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel—with the ability to adapt to new versions and emerging productivity tools as technology advances.
Anticipated experienceleveragingadvanced analytical and reporting platforms to enhance data-driven decision-making is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas,methodology,resultsand recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations
