Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a DMS Manager Supply Chain Programs 1 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Baltimore, MD. The successful applicant will become a part of Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit within the Mission Systems Sector supporting the Restricted / Emerging Operating Unit and would be responsible for managing all DMS scope.

The selected candidate will be a high-performing, organized supply chain leader who is goal-oriented and well equipped to partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders. To do this, they will leverage a solid understanding of the Global Supply Chain and be knowledgeable in the engineering, contracts, manufacturing, information technology, and mission excellence areas and how they impact delivery of supply chain materials and services. The selected candidate will have a proven ability to engage with stakeholder to drive increased visibility while negotiate pricing, ensuring compliance, and supporting fast-paced execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of DMS material and services content for a portfolio of Programs within the OU.
  • Serve as Supply Chain's primary partner to the Program Management Office (PMO), Engineering, and Contracts to coordinate cross‑functional activities and ensure supply chain commitments are met.
  • Develop and execute mitigation plans for program risks related to Last Time Buys/Lifetime Buys.
  • Lead program supply chain execution and be accountable for resource planning, material cost control, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to prioritize approach across multiple Programs and configurations; present status updates to leadership and customers.
  • Continuously monitor the DMS to identify and triage document and process risks; establish and maintain a robust, proactive mitigation process to prevent disruptions and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure the team uses appropriate metrics and indicators to manage performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and cross‑functional collaboration at all levels.
  • Manage complex assignments independently, exercising significant latitude in determining objectives and methods.
  • Communicate material baselines to impacted Planners and coordinate with Business Management to meet monthly Earned Value requirements and variance reporting; ensure consistent Material Finance reporting for program material.
  • Support the proposal process for the full DMS scope, from RFP through NAR and submittal, including development of sourcing strategy for large‑volume procurements and coordination of RWA as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, business OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with a minimum of 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects from conception to completion
  • Your ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience interfacing with and presenting to leadership
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, DFAR and ITAR
  • Experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable
  • Experience with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements
  • Negotiation Experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,500.00 - $173,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
