Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Manager Global Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our GSC Program Team in the support of qualified, diverse individuals in the Development (Dev) Operational Unit. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK and may include up to 50% travel to supplier sites and other NG sites.

The Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSCPM) will have cost, schedule, and technical responsibility for a key program GSC effort in the Development Operating Unit. The GSCPM will lead the Supplier Management Teams (SMT), consisting of Engineering, Subcontracts, Business Management, and Quality to ensure successful execution of the supplier efforts.

Key responsibilities of this role:

  • Oversee and manage all GSC activities in support of the execution of this major program
  • Create project plans, including project schedules and budgets
  • Integrate requirements vertically and horizontally across the project to ensure successful execution
  • Brief Northrop Grumman management and Air Force customers on project status
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Work with multiple engineering teams and cross-functional departments
  • Participate in contract negotiations and contract changes as required

The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional/military experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain or other related field OR a Master's degree with 3 years of professional/military experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain or other related field OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of professional/military experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain or other related field
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • At minimum, must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
  • Current Special Program Access (PAR)
  • Extensive experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
  • Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Experience managing Fixed Price supplier contracts
  • Master's Degree in a technical or business related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Primary Level Salary Range: $119,900.00 - $179,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
