UX ConsultantLocation:Dearborn, MI, USA (Customer Location)We are seeking an experienced UX Consultant to lead the experience design for an AI-enabled Occupational HealthSafety (OHS) incident investigation platform for a large enterprise client in the manufacturing domain. This role requires strong enterprise UX expertise, the ability to design AI-assisted workflows, and confidence working with senior stakeholders across business, safety, IT, and compliance functions.The consultant will be responsible for translating strategic vision into execution-ready designs that are intuitive, compliant, and operationally effective for plant supervisors.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience StrategyDesignTranslate business and safety objectives into user-centered workflowsDesign end-to-end incident investigation journeys (intake RCA compliance submission)Simplify complex, form-heavy systems into guided, task-driven experiencesDefine and document UX principles and guardrailsAI-Enabled Experience DesignDesign AI-assisted user interactions (e.g., structured narration, RCA guidance, contextual insights)Ensure transparency, explainability, and human-in-the-loop principlesCollaborate with AI/engineering teams to define interaction modelsBalance automation with regulatory accountabilityEnterprise UX ExecutionCreate wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes (Figma)Define component libraries aligned to brand guidelinesDeliver annotated design specs for engineering handoffSupport usability validation and iterationStakeholderClient EngagementPresent UX concepts to business and senior stakeholdersFacilitate design workshops and validation sessionsIncorporate compliance and regulatory constraints into designsManage feedback from cross-functional teamsRequired Experience8+ years of UX experience, preferably in enterprise or industrial platformsStrong experience designing workflow-heavy B2B applicationsExperience working in regulated industries (manufacturing, healthcare, finance, safety, etc.)Proven experience with design systems and scalable UX frameworksExpertise in Figma and interaction prototypingExperience collaborating with product, engineering, and data/AI teamsC
