The Business Analytics team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services. We are tightlyintegrated with planning and investment teams to deliver on and exceed our clients’ business goals.ResponsibilitiesExternal facing responsibilities:
Serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, including CMOs, CEOs, CFOs, and businessunit leaders. Building long-term senior client relationships that drive business growth, retention, andtransformation. Leading enterprise marketing, data, measurement, or operating model transformations. Influencing strategic business decisions through data, measurement, customer insights, andgrowth strategies. Consulting with clients to identify business problems / opportunities and develop practicalanalytic roadmaps to make measurable impact on business outcomes. Providing thought leadership around analytics, research, measurement, and ad-technologyconcepts / methods / tools. Defining and executing the data strategy: Uncover data needs / opportunities and develop apractical roadmap to get maximum value from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data through integrationand augmentation. Investigating the impact of new data sources and technologies on the future of marketing andthe vertical your client is operating. Identifying growth and innovation opportunities Leading executive-level business reviews and strategic planning sessions. Building bridges between disciplines within the agency, as well as external partners.Internal facing responsibilities: Provide methodological support, coaching, training and advice to your direct reports and to thebroader team. Lead and mentor direct reports: Continually assess capabilities, provide a roadmap for careergrowth and institute goals to build / expand skills. Lead the development of playbooks for audience and measurement activities to helpstandardize the delivery of high-quality marketing sciences services across the agency.Location: New York Reports To: EVP, Data and Technology OfficerDepartment: Data, Tech and Analytics Position Type: Full TimeConfidential - Not for Public Consumption or Distribution Actively help to develop and grow Business Analytics offerings by contributing to POVs andexchanging knowledge with colleagues at OM DTA Stay on top of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in trainingand attending industry events. Responsible for the revenue goals of Business AnalyticsRequired Skills Experience managing marketing, analytics, insights, customer strategy, and/or transformationfunctions. Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional executive stakeholders across Marketing,Finance, Technology, and Operations. Expertise in customer growth strategy, customer experience, CRM, loyalty, and customer journeyoptimization. Ability to identify growth opportunities through customer, market, and competitive insights. Experience connecting marketing investments to enterprise growth objectives. Specialized in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data cleanrooms, aggregated and user level data) Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development,including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development. Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising Expert-level solutions development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic &operational issues as relates to data and analytics. Problem-solving skills to drive issues toresolution. Strong track record of proven leadership ability and impactful client relationship experience Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging andstraightforward – and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured businesssolutions into innovative customer marketing programs Organized and detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conductinganalysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing) Managing complex enterprise client relationships. Comfortable working in ambiguous situations Passionate about driving change by adopting emerging technologies in the advertising spaceEducation and Experience 15+ years leading enterprise marketing, analytics, customer strategy, or business transformationinitiatives Significant leadership experience across agency, client-side, and/or publisher environments, withdemonstrated ability to manage complex businesses, advise senior stakeholders, and drivemeasurable growth.
$250,000 - $300,000Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a
minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
