Investment Banking Managing Director About the PositionSeeking an exceptional candidate to join the firm as Managing Director to build and grow its services practice. The candidate will be a strategic thinker and leader who is collaborative and team oriented to implement company vision, mission and long-term goals. The candidate will have a deep understanding of investment banking and be responsible for deal origination, managing the deal from start to completion. The ideal candidate will have core competence in equity research and financial modeling Specific Responsibilities Include
- Develop and execute business strategies
- Focus on deal origination: market to new potential clients, networking events and other forms of outreach
- Provide fundamental analysis and investment research in specific sub-segments with an emphasis on original, bottom-up research as well as developing a “top down” approach to evaluation of client potential
- Analyze individual companies to oversee building and updating fully integrated financial and valuation models
- Write research reports and present findings
- Interact with clients, investors and buyers
- Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding all ongoing deal management
- Graduate degree (CFA, CPA, MBA)
- At least 10 years industry experience or related professional role including business development or other management roles, equity research, management consulting, private equity, market research or investment banking
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
- Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
- Exceptional verbal and writing skills, including the ability to succinctly and clearly articulate complex information. A personal style conducive to building relationships
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast- paced, deadline-driven environment with a proven commitment to turning in consistently high-quality work as a self- starter
- Intellectual curiosity and dedication to providing the best products to clients
