Job Details
Our client is seeking a Managing Attorney to lead legal operations, oversee case strategy, and mentor a team of attorneys and support staff. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned family law attorney with strong litigation experience and a passion for team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight of active cases and ensure alignment with client goalsLead and manage a team of attorneys and legal support staff, including mentorship and performance developmentDrive litigation strategy and oversee complex family law matters through trialMaintain high standards of client communication and satisfactionEnsure compliance with legal, ethical, and procedural requirementsMonitor firm performance metrics, including caseload management and billing practicesCollaborate with executive leadership on firm initiatives and growth strategiesRepresent the firm in professional and community settings as needed
Qualifications:
J.D. and active bar admission8+ years of family law litigation experience, including trial workPrior leadership or management experience within a law firm environmentDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and drive performanceStrong understanding of KPIs, case management, and operational efficiencyExcellent communication, coaching, and organizational skillsTech-savvy with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environmentProven ability to balance client advocacy with team leadership responsibilities
