Manual MachinistPay:$20.00 $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)Location:Broken Arrow, OK 74012Shift:Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 5: 00 PM(Some weekends as needed)Job Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125833Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a growing machine shop in Broken Arrow. This position is responsible for setting up and operating manual machining equipment to manufacture and repair precision components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.The ideal candidate has experience operating manual lathes and mills, enjoys precision machining, and takes pride in producing high-quality parts. Experience with Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs) and ACME threading is a plus but not required.Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Manual Machinist Ability to set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Strong understanding of machining practices and precision measurement Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong attention to detailEssential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate and repair precision components Machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications Operate Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs) when applicable Perform ACME threading when required (experience preferred but not required) Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met Maintain machining equipment and report maintenance concerns as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures Assist with additional machining and production duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Experience operating Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs) Experience performing ACME threading Previous job shop or custom machining experience Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicatorsPhysical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive use of hands and arms Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPEWork Environment Precision machine shop in Broken Arrow Fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality and craftsmanship Team-oriented workplace with opportunities for long-term employment Overtime and occasional weekend work based on production demandsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work with a variety of manual machining equipment Growing machine shop with opportunities to expand your skills Supportive team environment focused on quality and craftsmanshipReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
