This position involves setting up and operating manual machining equipment, interpreting blueprints, and producing precision metal components according to manufacturing specifications.Candidates must have previous hands-on experience operating Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, or horizontal mills and be comfortable independently setting up machinery, adjusting controls, and maintaining accurate machining tolerances.The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues while maintaining quality and production efficiency.This position offers $24.00–$28.00 per hour, a four-day workweek, and voluntary overtime on Fridays.Required Experience & Qualifications

• Previous hands-on manual machining experience required
• Experience operating Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, or horizontal mills
• Ability to independently set up and operate manual machining equipment
• Strong blueprint-reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
• Experience adjusting machine controls, offsets, fixtures, and stops
• Ability to follow machining specifications and maintain dimensional accuracy
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, and horizontal mills, according to production requirements.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications to determine required dimensions and machining operations.Adjust machine controls, offsets, fixtures, and stops to ensure accurate cutting and component production.Position and secure materials and workpieces before beginning machining operations.Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.Inspect completed components to verify they meet applicable specifications and tolerances.Identify machining issues, troubleshoot equipment concerns, and make appropriate corrections.Maintain clean and organized workstations while following all company safety procedures.Work with fabrication and production personnel to complete assigned projects efficiently.Perform additional manual machining and fabrication responsibilities as assigned.Manual Machining & Equipment SetupCandidates must have practical experience operating manual machining equipment in an industrial fabrication environment.Experience with Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, or horizontal mills is required.Responsibilities include preparing machinery for production, setting up workpieces, adjusting machine controls, and completing machining operations according to specifications.Candidates must be comfortable working independently and making adjustments to maintain accurate results.Blueprint Reading & Precision MachiningCandidates must be able to read and interpret fabrication blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.Responsibilities include identifying required dimensions, determining machining procedures, and verifying finished components meet applicable tolerances.Strong attention to measurement accuracy and quality workmanship is essential.Machine Adjustments & TroubleshootingPerform machine setups and adjustments, including configuring fixtures, stops, controls, and offsets as required.Candidates must be able to identify machining concerns and make necessary corrections to maintain production accuracy.Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and experience working with manual machine tools are important.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentThis is a hands-on machining position in an industrial fabrication shop.Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and positioning metal materials as required.Work involves regular exposure to machining equipment, cutting tools, metal components, and active fabrication operations.All required personal protective equipment and company safety procedures must be followed.Schedule & OvertimeMonday–Thursday

• Option 1: 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Option 2: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
