Manual Testers

Job Title:Manual TestersLocation: Greenwood Village CO and/or Omaha NEIndustry: Banking and Financial ServicesJob Overview:The Manual Tester will support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Java-based applications and related platforms. This role will focus on validating application functionality after development teams complete security vulnerability remediations. The tester will create and execute detailed test cases, document defects, report quality metrics, and work closely with Agile Scrum teams to ensure applications meet business, technical, and quality requirements.Responsibilities:

• Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to validate business and technical requirements.
• Participate in testing activities including planning, design, scripting, execution, defect management, debugging, and reporting.
• Test code and applications after development teams complete security vulnerability remediations.
• Validate functionality across Java-based applications and related platforms, including some mainframe environments as needed.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results.
• Monitor and report software quality metrics and testing effectiveness.
• Support API testing activities; SOAP experience may be useful.
• Work closely within Agile Scrum teams to coordinate testing activities and sprint deliverables.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• 6+ years of experience in software testing of web applications.
• Solid manual testing background with strong test execution experience.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience with API testing.
• SQL experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in test execution, defect management, and quality reporting.
• Experience supporting multiple applications, platforms, and development environments.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in Agile and SDLC environments.
• Security or vulnerability testing experience strongly preferred; penetration testing is not required.
• Banking and financial services industry experience preferred, including payments, tax payments, ACH, and NACHA regulations and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Tosca or Selenium preferred.
• Experience with mainframe and distributed application environments preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, database testing, performance testing, accessibility/ADA testing, and user interface testing preferred.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, preferred.
