Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler – 1st Shift Location: Delano, MNCompensation: $17.00–$19.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 1st shift | Monday–Friday | Hours TBDJob Type: Temp | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Heavy Assembler workers for a thermal systems and solutions manufacturing company in Delano, MN. In this role, you’ll assemble large and small components that support products used across trucking, automotive, oil & gas, and EV/hybrid industries. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and want steady hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Heavy Assembler:
  • Assemble parts and subassemblies to produce finished components
  • Use hand tools and air tools, including rivet guns and large wrenches
  • Position and verify parts using measurements, templates, and specifications
  • Measure and inspect completed components to ensure quality standards
  • Follow lean manufacturing, 5S, and standardized work practices
  • Cross-train and rotate between work cells as needed
  • Maintain good ergonomics, housekeeping, and safe work practices
What You Need to Bring to the Heavy Assembler Role:
  • Must have a High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to use large wrenches up to 3 feet long
  • Must be comfortable operating an overhead crane
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs on occassion, plus repeated hand & wrist movements andworking with small parts
  • Comfort working on an assembly line in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions in English
  • Reliable transportation to Delano, MN
