Manufacturing Engineer Cedar Rapids, IA$100,000$130,000+ DOE Full-Time | 1st ShiftWe are hiring an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly operations in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. This role will focus on process development, production support, equipment implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Support assembly process development and production readiness*
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities*
- Assist with equipment implementation, process validation, and startup activities*
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis*
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives*
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams*
- Review production data and support capital improvement projects
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred*
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience*
- Experience supporting assembly or automated manufacturing environments*
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills*
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process flow analysis, and production support*
- Experience with ERP/MES systems is a plus
