Job Description
Primary Skills: Lean Methodologies (advanced), Process Improvement (advanced), Data Analysis (intermediate), CAD Software (intermediate), Root Cause Analysis (intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 9 Months Location: Stafford Springs, CT - 06076 Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour on W2Job Summary:We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process improvements, and new product introductions. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing work instructions, procedures, and documentation.
- Drive process improvements using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support new product introductions, equipment optimization, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams to improve manufacturing performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and data analysis skills.
- CAD software experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to automation or equipment integration is a plus.
