This Manufacturing Engineer role supports the production of advanced 3D woven composite engine components by optimizing processes, developing documentation, and driving continuous improvement.

Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the full production lifecycle of composite components, including prepreg layup, bonding, coating, vacuum bagging, and autoclave curing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and visual standards.
  • Support operator training, troubleshooting, and daily production activities on the shop floor.
  • Identify and implement automation, Lean, and process optimization opportunities.

Profile

The ideal Manufacturing Engineer is a self‑driven engineer with experience in composite manufacturing or related processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a hands‑on production environment. They excel at balancing technical rigor with practical problem-solving and communicate effectively across functions to support efficient operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Understanding of composite manufacturing, adhesive bonding, and cure cycles.
  • Strong documentation, project management, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
