Client Impactful Work As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing operations, implementing innovative technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Location This is a fully onsite role based at our Rockford, IL site. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. A Day in the Life "Lead and execute process improvement and manufacturing optimization projects "Develop, validate, and implement robust manufacturing processes "Provide technical leadership and manufacturing support for new product introductions (NPI) "Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity and quality "Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges "Drive cost reduction, capacity expansion, and efficiency improvement initiative "Support equipment qualification, process validation, and change control activities "Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement "Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and applicable regulatory requirements Keys to Success Education "Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR "Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR "Equivalent combination of education and manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated industry "Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications beneficial "Lean Six Sigma certification preferred Experience "Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and manufacturing control systems "Expertise in process validation, equipment qualification, and change control management "Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives "Experience with CAD software and manufacturing documentation systems "Experience with risk assessment methodologies and root cause analysis "Experience supporting engineers and technicians
