Manufacturing Engineering Intern

SUMMARY:

The internship will provide practical and professional experience that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Through this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in real-life manufacturing processes by reviewing standard work and set-up sheets to assist with the standardization in the areas of machining and assembly.
• Collaborate across departments on assigned projects working closely with the production floor team and office staff.
• Develop a well-rounded understanding of the production process while contributing to meaningful process improvements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar field. 

Compensation:

• $21.00-$26.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background.

Work Hours/Length of Program:

• The internship will run from May to August.
• Targeting 40 hours per week.
• Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business.
