Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

  • I.    
  • PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
  • 1.    
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • 2.    
  • Coach and manage Process Engineers in developing and improving the manufacturing processes, procedures, and flow diagram for server and rack products. 
  • 3.    
  • Provide leadership for manufacturing engineers and responsible for their training and development.
  • 4.    
  • Drive projects to improve process reliability, process flow, quality & FPY, improve productivity, and reduce operational cycle times and costs.
  • 5.    
  • Owner for creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • 6.    
  • Provide resource/labor and production capacity analysis.
  • 7.    
  • Provide feedback on requirements and needs to meet production schedule.
  • 8.    
  • Evaluate and approve manufacturing infrastructure needs and costs.
  • 9.    
  • Review, evaluate, and approve change orders.
  • 10.    
  • Work with NPI team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the introduction processes, documents, material preparations, and tooling/fixtures through the following activities:    WO BOM Validation    Shop Floor Control System Routing    Production Flow Diagram    Create, validate, and maintain Work Instructions    Pack Out Instructions
  • 11.    
  • Accountable for Change Order Management including:    Assess, document and communicate all production floor and/or customer driven changes.    Initiate and follow up with ECN/MCO changes and disposition.    Update all applicable work instructions.    Implement ECO/MCO changes in production; provide training to line operators. 
  • JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • II.    
  • EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 12.    
  • BS degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
  • 13.    
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in manufacturing engineering management role
  • III.    
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • 14.    
  • In-depth product manufacturing comprehension including rationales and limitations
  • 15.    
  • Expert working knowledge of manufacturing systems 
  • 16.    
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean philosophies and experienced in practicing those applications
  • 17.    
  • 6 Sigma Green Belt certified, Black Belt is a plus.  
  • 18.    
  • Compute and/or Network server/rack manufacturing experience is a plus
  • 19.    
  • Effective in project management, time management, and delegation

  • Flexibility to travel to other internal and external sites, as needed (Domestic & International).

  • Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection.
  • VI.    
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  •     Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity.Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required. 
  •     Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
