Join a respected industrial pipe yard operation supporting material handling, production, testing, and yard logistics. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a safety-focused environment.

Job Highlights

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate ($15.00/hr for day shift/ $17.00/hr for night shift)

• Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

• Location: Houston, TX 77049

• Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

• Up to 60 hours per week available

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Assist with securing trucks and yard racks under supervision

• Operate hand tools and equipment including grinders, hammers, pressure washers, and brooms

• Support multiple departments as needed and assist with various yard operations

• Load, unload, and move pipe, materials, tools, and accessories

• Assist with hydrostatic testing, painting support, and general production activities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on schedule

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (proof must be provided)

• Previous pipe yard experience required

• Pipe grinding experience is a plus

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must pass a background check

• Must complete a required 5-hour safety orientation

• Current resume required

• Must own and wear steel-toe boots

• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed

• Ability to lift, carry, and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Good communication skills

• Strong hand-eye coordination and visual awareness

• Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and work in confined spaces when necessary

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds

• Basic reading, math, and computer skills are helpful

• Safety-focused and self-motivated work ethic
