Employees benefit from working in a structured yet forward-thinking environment that embraces lean principles and encourages innovation at all levels of the business.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Operations Leader, you will be responsible for the following:Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
Drive a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing protocols and proactively reducing risk across the facility
Manage workforce planning, including staffing, cross-training, and contingency strategies to meet fluctuating production demands
Develop and track key performance metrics to improve operational outcomes and support plant objectives
Mentor, coach, and develop team members, setting clear performance expectations and fostering accountability
Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies to improve overall profitability
Utilize data and analytics to identify process gaps and implement effective solutions
Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize operations and align with broader business goals

Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role (typically 7+ years)Strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies (Six Sigma experience preferred)Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience working with ERP systems and standard business software tools
Exposure to plastics, extrusion, or automation technologies is advantageous
