Standard Job Description

Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience with product flow on the manufacturing floor

Ability to work in a team environment

MRP Experience

Self Starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates a strong understanding and applies industry techniques within area of specialization. Utilizes a range of concepts and principles. COMPLEXITY - Develops solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work is reviewed periodically for the adequacy of judgement, overall accuracy, and quality. IMPACT - Contributes to organizational projects and goals. Represents on specific projects and teams, contributing to effective collaboration and problem resolution. Engages with immediate team members and some external contacts.

Experience/understanding of hardware moving from development to production

Understanding of MRP systems/concepts

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong Excel/Microsoft Office Skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
