Since 1945, Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights has been manufacturing the highest quality traditional, antique, and custom designed hand-made lighting fixtures. Today, we are the largest manufacturer of handmade copper and stainless-steel lanterns in the world. Bevolo continues to grow year after year and is always seeking people looking for a stable long-term career with a local family-owned company.
We currently have openings at our Manufacturing/Production Facility, located in Covington, LA.
Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7-3:30. Full-time positions are available. Position and responsibilities will vary depending on previous experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform various production related tasks such as: Applying antique finish to products, fabricating sub-assemblies, preparing fixtures for packaging/shipment, utility installation, parts fabrication, assembling parts, hand riveting, etc.
- Perform general warehouse/misc. tasks such as: Cleaning, Organizing, Wash/detail company vehicles, etc.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment is highly valued.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Teamwork: Ability to interact positively, collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail: Precision and accuracy are essential in our manufacturing process, so proficiency in basic math and measurements are required.
- Organization and Time Management: Keeping track of workload, meeting deadlines, and efficient use of materials.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication is needed to work with teams and follow instructions.
- Dexterity and Coordination: Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to work with tools and materials used during the manufacturing process.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, talk, listen, stand, walk, touch, type and reach with hands and arms as well as occasionally lift lanterns and products up to 50 pounds, climb up/down a ladder and work in a non-conditioned warehouse.
