Job Description

Propelis is hiring for a Manufacturing Quality Technician in Waukesha, WI!

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible new hires, paid in two installments and subject to company guidelines

Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm- 11:00pm Monday- Friday

Pay: $21 - $22 / hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support the final stage of our manufacturing process. This role is responsible for operating inspection equipment to proof and inspect cylinders, ensuring all products meet quality standards before shipment.

Responsibilities

Operate a proof press to generate inspection quality sheets of production output
Cut and prepare sheets for quality control inspection
Prepare final product for shipping/receiving
Learn inspection procedures, pass/fail criteria

Education & Experience

Previous experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
Basic computer skills required, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office / O365

Skills & Abilities

Proficiency with PC operation & common software (email/O365 suite/database)
Attention to detail
Visual acuity for fine details/color

Able to meet physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to

Lifting up to 30 lbs.
Infrequent pushing/pulling of cart
Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes
Standing/walking up to 8 hours per shift
Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is $21 - $22/hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
