Manufacturing Specialist 1_Production QC Location: Liberty MO Duration: 12 months plus extensions " Following written company procedures and applicable outside certification standards, ensure all fabricated and machined products, holders and accessories meet drawing, work order and customer requirements " Perform receiving inspection of all purchased parts " Ensure parts in CNC area are produced properly through first part and in-process inspection " Final inspect all product prior to packaging and shipment to end users " Route accepted parts and products to next processing stage " Document non-conforming parts or products and route them to designated holding area " Calibrate and maintain inventory of measuring equipment, including pressure, control and computer gauges " Track and enter inspection data into computer " Develop non-conformance charts and run weekly updates " Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need " Good physical condition " Be able to work long standing hours " Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day, though possibly more " Frequently required to stand and/or walk, up to 2 hours per day, and make occasional trips from the office area to the manufacturing area " Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed " Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area, including, but not limited to, safety glasses and safety shoes " Vision Requirements: Acuity of 20/30 or better in either eye; Read the Jaeger No. 2 Eye Chart at 16 inches Education: " Have a High School Diploma or equivalent diploma 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired: " Ability to read blueprints " Intermediate math skills " Intermediate reading skills " Effective verbal and written communication skills " Knowledge of applicable certification standards and codes " Working knowledge of computers sufficient to successfully use company ERP system, Microsoft Windows Soft skills Attention to detail.
