Job Description
Volt has Direct- Hire opportunity for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician for a manufacturing company in Bend, OR.
10% differential pay for working the swing shift -- Must be able to train on days
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will:
- Perform test and assembly processes in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices (such as but not limited to microscopic inspection, pick and place, oven reflow, substrate dicing, laser scribe, tape and reel, data entry)
- Perform detailed tasks under a microscope and use small hand tools like tweezers to handle delicate components.
- Perform maintenance and calibration for tools and equipment
- Collect data and record work using internal computer databases
- Wear safety gear every day, including a smock, mask, gloves, hairnet, and safety glasses.
This is a Full-time, Permanent Role
Shift: Monday- Thursday or Tuesday- Friday (12pm- 10:30pm)
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Microscope experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Pay Rate*: $22-$25/hr. Depending on experience (10% shift differential pay included)
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
