In this role, you'll help disassemble, clean, inspect, and refurbish electric motors and generator components used in the wind energy industry while developing specialized mechanical skills through hands-on training.". • Load and unload stator and rotor cores from burn-off ovens
• Strip burned windings from rotors and stators using tools and equipment
• Clean, inspect, and prepare motor cores for rewinding processes
• Perform core loss testing and identify potential defects
• Assist with motor disassembly and repair preparation activities
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and equipment

What You Need to Bring to the Reclamation Technician Role:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around heat, dust, grease, noise, and industrial equipment
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance in Hutchinson, MN
• Manufacturing, construction, maintenance, automotive, fabrication, or similar hands-on experience preferred but not required
