Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production meets all operational and quality requirements. The role involves supporting engineering with equipment setup, calibration, and testing activities related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
This position works collaboratively with manufacturing associates, engineering teams, quality personnel, and leadership to execute production requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives. The technician also collects and analyzes operational data using advanced programs to adjust equipment, instruments, or processes while maintaining adherence to operating procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Maintain and promote a safe work environment by identifying and addressing unsafe or hazardous situations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to support proper equipment calibration.
  • Apply working knowledge of testing equipment within the Operations area.
  • Report non-conformances to the Team Lead or Supervisor and complete Non-Conformance Events (NCEs) as appropriate.
  • Perform root cause investigations and assist in identifying solutions using troubleshooting tools.
  • Support process validations and suggest process improvements to engineering or leadership teams.
  • Complete documentation updates and redlines in alignment with engineering guidance.
  • Participate in managed daily improvement (MDI) discussions and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and execute 5S practices within the work area.
  • Complete training requirements and maintain accurate training records.
  • Conduct inventory transactions and maintain integrity of inventory systems.
  • Process work order transactions using the Oracle system.
  • Retrieve documentation using Oracle and Agile systems to ensure accurate production information.
  • Maintain data entry tools and independently complete material orders.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to standardized production schedules, including overtime when required.
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree.
  • 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing or operations experience.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work independently on routine tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience with Oracle ERP system.
  • Experience with Agile Product Lifecycle Management system.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling best practices.
Required Skills:
  • Manufacturing equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Reading schematics and technical documentation
  • Process monitoring and quality compliance
Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of FDA regulations and ISO requirements
