A growing precision manufacturing company in Southwest Michigan is seeking an experienced Die Cast Operator to support high performance die casting operations in a fast paced production environment. This is a hands on role focused on machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, automation support, and maintaining quality standards across production.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Set up and operate cold chamber die casting equipmentTroubleshoot casting defects and optimize process parametersPerform die changes and assist with machine maintenanceInspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracySupport process improvements to reduce downtime and scrapOperate and troubleshoot FANUC robots and automation systemsAssist with hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical troubleshootingMaintain accurate production and process documentation

Qualifications

3+ years of die casting experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with cold chamber die cast machinesFANUC robot experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of tooling, alloys, shot profiles, and die temperature controlAbility to read blueprints and understand GD&TMechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skillsExperience with automation systems, conveyors, or EOAT is a plus

Preferred Experience

Preventive maintenance supportForklift or overhead crane operationLockout/Tagout and molten metal safety proceduresProcess improvement and scrap reduction initiatives
