Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Manchester, NHPay Rate: $20–$23/hr (based on experience)
OT available Type: 6-Month Temp-to-Hire
Schedules & Shifts
1st Shift 7-3:30pm
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)Openings:
- Cleanroom – 5 openings
- Durables – 2 openings
2nd Shift
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:15 AM
- Openings: 6
3rd Shift paid lunch and 1 paid break
- Schedule: Sunday – Thursday
- Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Openings: 16
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to support cleanroom and durable goods production operations across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. This role is ideal for self-sufficient technicians with hands-on experience in assembly, testing, and documentation of mechanical and electrical assemblies. Technicians play a critical role in assembling medical devices while ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures
- Operate small hand tools (manual and electric), presses, assembly fixtures, calibrated instruments, microscopes, and test fixtures
- Follow Bills of Materials, work orders, check sheets, flow charts, and assembly drawings to build product and accurately record results
- Perform soldering, crimping, ultrasonic welding, bonding, gluing, and other assembly techniques
- Conduct kitting using scanners and inventory software as required
- Complete startup and end-of-day equipment inspections and verifications
- Inspect assemblies throughout the process and report quality or operational issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; actively participate in safety programs
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives as part of cross-functional teams
- Work closely with Engineers and line leads to resolve issues and update procedures
- Ensure compliance with ISO, QSR, FDA regulations, and company manufacturing policies
- Maintain accurate documentation for quality checks, WIP, test results, and labor reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with assembly, testing, and documentation of mechanical and/or electrical devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, regulated environment and manage multiple tasks
- 0 Experience needed. Training included.
Preferred:
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with ISO, QSR, FDA regulations, Lean manufacturing, GMP, or cleanroom environments
