Overview
Job Description
A global automotive and industrial components manufacturer is adding an Operations Trainer at one of its U.S. production facilities. This is a newly prioritized role sitting between HR and the plant floor, and it exists because the site is scaling and needs training to stop being something supervisors squeeze in between shifts.
You will be the person who takes a new hire from day one to fully qualified on the line — and the person the plant leans on when a process changes and forty people need to be retrained on it correctly, quickly, and with a record to prove it.
It is a hands-on job with a real systems component. You will spend part of your week on the floor in PPE demonstrating standard work, and part of it building the materials, tracking the matrix, and reporting completion and effectiveness data up to leadership. People who only want to present, or only want to sit in the training records, tend not to enjoy this one.
