Job Summary

North America is our largest and most critical revenue-generating market, serving as a key driver of global growth, innovation, and brand leadership. The Market Communications Lead (MCL) for North America will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a bold, integrated communications strategy that strengthens market leadership, amplifies executive voice, and drives measurable business impact.Reporting to the VP of Global GTM Communications, this role serves as the single point of accountability the integrated comms plan and thought leadership initiatives for the Managing Director. The MCL will partner closely with the Marketing Market Leader (MML) Market Leadership, Corporate Comms, Product & Solutions Comms, and partner agencies to deliver a unified, high-impact narrative across earned, owned, and social channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own and Execute the NA Integrated Communications Strategy.

  • Define and operationalize a comprehensive, cross-functional communications plan aligned to business priorities, growth objectives, and market dynamics.

  • Define and Drive a Differentiated Market Narrative: Shape a compelling, insight-driven story that reinforces market leadership and strengthens brand positioning.

  • Lead Earned Media and Thought Leadership Strategy: Drive a proactive media and executive visibility program to increase share of voice and strengthen reputation.

  • Serve as Single Point of Accountability: Align stakeholders, set priorities, and ensure consistent execution across all communications functions.

  • Orchestrate Cross-Team Execution: Partner Corporate Affairs and the MML to coordinate campaigns, initiatives and strategic moments.

  • Manage Agency Partners and External Amplification: Lead agency relationships to scale storytelling and media engagement.

  • Advise Senior Leadership: Provide strategic counsel on positioning, messaging, and reputation risks/opportunities.

  • Localize and Amplify Global Strategy: Translate global narratives into locally relevant programs.

  • Measure Impact and Optimize Performance: Establish KPIs and refine strategy based on insights.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field required

  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, ideally within a global B2B technology or major brand

  • Superior executive presence and presentation skills

  • Ability to operate seamlessly between strategy and execution - setting direction while remaining hands-on to drive outcomes

  • Proven ability to lead integrated communications strategies in complex environments

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate content creation, optimize messaging, improve productivity and content performance

  • Strong track record in executive positioning and media relations

  • Deep understanding of the North America media landscape

  • Exceptional storytelling and messaging capabilities

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Strong program and project management skills

  • Experience managing agencies and budgets

  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring impact

  • Ability to balance strategy with execution
