Market Data Support /Application Support Market Data/Capital Markets Jersey City, NJ or NYC, NY (Hybrid 3 days in a week) 12+ Months Web Cam Interview We need: A senior Market Data/Applications support Analyst/Engineer to be the first point of contact for all issues related to Market Data Platforms. The main focus will be on the Low Latency Platform (LLP) (Exegy), and Client TREP API'S while Supporting and implementing exchange driven changes (EDCs) as required. Candidates must have experience supporting Market Data display applications: Bloomberg, LSEG, Factset etc. Candidates must have Strong scripting experience in at least one of the languages Python, Perl or Shell. Candidate Must Have's on a resume and for submittal: How many years working with: Market Data Application/Platform Support How many years working with: Low Latency Platform (LLP) How many years working with: eXegy, Wombat/SR Labs, Reuters, Bloomberg How many years working with: Python, Perl or Shell Job Description: 1st Line support for all Market Data platforms. The main focus will be on the Low Latency Platform (LLP) (Exegy), and Client TREP. Supporting and implementing exchange driven changes (EDCs) as required Experience supporting Market Data display applications: Bloomberg, LSEG, Factset etc Experience with usage monitoring software: MMG, Harco Providing escalated support for Trading desks and application teams. Collaboration with global team colleagues This role requires commitment to work within a shift rota, including early late, plus on call and weekend work. This role requires the following core technical skills: Thorough knowledge of Market Data Distribution technologies (eXegy, Wombat/SR Labs, Reuters, Bloomberg) Strong knowledge of consolidated and direct feeds Experience in market data content from multiple providers. Good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, Routing Protocols, Security) Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating environments Experience in financial market applications, exchange data and internal trading flows Strong scripting experience in at least one of the languages python, perl or shell Personal Attributes Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment Proactive approach to highlighting and resolving risks within the environment Holds oneself accountable for delivering on time and to the highest standard Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem solving and analytical ability Ability to work as part of a global team Desirable Skills Excellent knowledge of Python Experience in eXegy, MAMA, RFA and Bloomberg market data API's
