Market Director, Clinical EducationLocation: Framingham / Worcester, MA (Supporting 3 hospitals within the market)Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct HireCompensation: $125,000 $170,000 annuallyPosition Overview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Market Director, Clinical Education to lead and execute clinical education strategy across multiple acute care hospitals within a regional healthcare market. This leadership role is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to support high-quality patient care outcomes.The Market Director serves as a strategic leader, mentor, and subject matter expert, overseeing clinical educators, staff development initiatives, competency programs, and educational compliance. This role collaborates closely with nursing leadership, medical staff, and hospital administration to promote clinical excellence, professional development, and regulatory readiness across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Education Leadership and Strategy
- Lead the execution of the clinical education strategic plan across multiple hospital facilities
- Plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate clinical education programs across all disciplines
- Ensure clinical education programs align with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical education regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements
- Oversee ongoing staff development programs, competency assessments, and continuing education initiatives
- Identify, develop, and maintain competency programs, including high-risk and low-volume clinical skills
- Ensure competencies are reviewed and updated regularly to meet regulatory and clinical requirements
- Support professional development and continuing education opportunities for nursing and clinical staff
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to market and facility clinical educators
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing directors, and interdisciplinary teams to support education initiatives
- Support performance improvement initiatives and organizational quality goals
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and staff engagement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Align education programs with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and best practices
- Participate in strategic planning related to clinical education and workforce development
- Conduct education needs assessments and develop targeted training programs
- Partner with executive leadership, department directors, medical staff, and clinical teams
- Support initiatives that improve patient outcomes, staff performance, and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Active clinical background with direct patient care experience
- Minimum 3 years of clinical leadership experience (Director, Assistant Director, or similar leadership role)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching, staff development, or clinical education experience
- Experience supporting education programs within a hospital or healthcare system
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience managing clinical education across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards
- Experience leading competency programs, clinical training, and professional development initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development experience
- Onsite role supporting multiple hospitals within the Framingham / Worcester, MA market
- Acute care hospital and clinical environment
- Collaborative leadership environment with multidisciplinary teams
