Job Description

Market of Choice is now hiring for Grocery Deli Clerk positions starting at $19.00/hour - $21.00/hour depending on experience with growth opportunity up to $24.00/hour. Our Grocery Deli department carries a wide variety of perishable products including milk, yogurt, deli meats, and cheeses. DUTIESMarket of Choice employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Among your duties as a Grocery Deli Clerk, you will assist customers in selection, recommendations, and stocking of our delicious products- pre-packaged meats, cheeses, and dairy products. Some of your duties will also include:Stock, face and rotate perishable products

Assisting the Grocery Deli Manager in writing orders (as needed)Assisting with inventory and maintaining other pertinent records

Adhere to regular cleaning schedule to ensure cleanliness of department

Accurately pull and record shrink as requested

Exercise proper storage and usage of products and supplies

Sweep, mop, pick up refuse, collect and bale cardboard

Expect a high-energy, team-oriented environment!QUALIFICATIONSApplicants should be available any shift including weekends. You must be 18 years or older.The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling perishable products with an application to working in grocery deli and/or dairy departments.
