ABOUT THIS ROLE
Apex isseekingan analytical and collaborativeMarketRisk Internto support our market risk team.This cross-functional role will involve working closely with risk and marginsandleverageAIto conduct business analysis, create dashboards, and enhance visibility into market risk.
To be considered, you must be able to commit to a 10-week hybrid internship and work40 hoursper week during our summer program
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of equity derivatives and market risk.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to gather requirements and implement data-driven strategies.
Help design and develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor platform performance and reliability.
Analyze platform data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
Document processes and create reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Senior standing, May 2026 graduate
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in data analysis.
Hypercompetitive and entrepreneurial attitude
Familiarity with frontier large language models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Grok.
Deep passion for analytics and financial markets
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
This internship operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week.

Salary Range
$0-$50The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
