Job Description

Position Summary:

TCL North America is seeking a Retail Operations Assistant / Specialist to support and execute retail operations initiatives across key U.S. channels. This role plays a critical part in enabling the successful delivery of TCL's retail programs by supporting execution across in-store and omnichannel environments, coordinating with third-party logistics partners, and maintaining core retail systems and tools.

Reporting into the Retail Operations team, this position supports cross-functional execution by partnering closely with Sales, Field Operations, Supply Chain, and external vendors to ensure programs are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a hands-on execution mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Support the execution of TCL's retail programs across key U.S. channels, including national and regional retailers, ensuring in-store initiatives are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Partner with third-party logistics and field execution agencies to coordinate store visits, task completion, and follow-up, ensuring alignment with TCL's retail execution standards.
  • Track and support the execution of in-store initiatives such as vendor pads, resets, merchandising updates, and training activities, providing visibility to progress and issues.
  • Maintain and support core retail operations tools, dashboards, and trackers to enable accurate execution tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Support data hygiene, execution reporting, and status updates to ensure consistent and reliable retail performance insights.
  • Own the organization and maintenance of retail execution documentation, including program guidelines, store lists, and operational playbooks.
  • Support the coordination, maintenance, and deployment of retail training content, including TCL Academy and field-facing materials, to ensure consistency and readiness across retail teams.
  • Assist with the scheduling, tracking, and follow-up of retail training programs and field communications to drive execution effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail Operations, GTM, Merchandising, and Training teams to support execution priorities and resolve operational needs.
  • Support the preparation of retail presentations, execution summaries, and internal updates to enable clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Contribute to onboarding, transition, and knowledge-transfer documentation for retail roles and external partners to ensure continuity and operational excellence.

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Must Haves:
    • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent practical experience required.
    • 0-3 years of experience supporting retail operations, sales operations, analytics, or related functions within a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
    • Demonstrated analytical capability, with proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to work with large data sets to support retail execution tracking and reporting.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret retail performance across multiple dimensions, including store, region, channel, SKU, time period, and execution status.
    • Experience building, maintaining, and updating dashboards, trackers, and performance summaries to support operational visibility and decision-making.
    • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights that support execution and continuous improvement.
    • Comfortable managing ongoing reporting needs while maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Data & Analytics Capabilities (Preferred)
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
    • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard development, and performance tracking.
    • Ability to identify execution gaps and performance trends across multiple retail dimensions and translate findings into operational recommendations.
    • Experience leveraging automation or AI-assisted tools to improve reporting efficiency, data accuracy, or execution visibility is a strong plus.
