Job Description

POSITION: _Marketing Coordinator_

STATUS: Full Time

STARTING PAY: Based on experience

HOURS: Monday thru Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 11:30am

PRIMARY LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or Communications preferred

Proficient technical computer skills, including:

Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)

· Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign (required), Acrobat, Illustrator, Lightroom, and/or Photoshop)

3-5+ years of experience working in the A/E/C industry or similarExcellent written and verbal communication skills

TYPICAL DUTIES:

· Perform daily research of identified sources for potential opportunities

· Assist in the development of responses to proposals that highlight GEC’s capabilities and experience

· Propose, develop, and publish content for GEC social media pages (Facebook and LinkedIn)

· Support production effort, such as copying, printing covers and tabs, producing binders, printing brochures, etc.

· Support proposal assembly, packaging, and delivery

· Develop and maintain marketing materials database (e.g., staff resumes, staff/firm certifications, project write-ups)

· Maintain marketing materials inventory (e.g., promotional items) and attend conferences/trade shows as a representative of the firm

· Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to produce high quality materials in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressureKnowledge of qualifications-based submittal process, including industry regulations and standards

Simultaneously coordinate and/or support development of multiple pursuits at various stages of developmentDemonstrated graphic design experience and/or portfolio

Experience with Deltek VisionExperience with Microsoft SharePoint

Experience with Canva, Facebook, and/or LinkedInExcellent organizational skills

Willingness to learn and ability to work independently and as part of a team
