Job Description
Oates Associates is a 100% employee-owned civil and structural engineering firm focused on enhancing our community. From transportation to building infrastructure, our team designs solutions that positively impact our region.
Oates Associates offers a work environment that encourages and supports you during your career development journey. To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for a marketing coordinator position. Work will be out of our Collinsville, IL office.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop proposals across various markets including writing, editing and producing while meeting required deadlines
- Write project descriptions, press releases, social media content, etc.
- Create interview presentations and collaborate with the interview team
- Maintain and organize the CRM database
- Update and manage website content
- Create and manage social postings for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Support business development professionals through market and client research
- Plan and coordinate events for staff and clients
- Additional miscellaneous responsibilities to support engineering and admin staff
Position Requirements
- 0-3+ years marketing experience or similar
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Motivation to learn/use new programs and design tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud applications - specifically, InDesign
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong writing skills with a keen attention to detail to maintain consistency throughout documents and materials
- Able to review and interpret solicitation documents and coordinate proposal content to meet required specifications and deadlines
- Capable of working collaboratively with engineers as well as independently
This is a full-time position with an annual hiring pay range of $52,000-$58,000.
