Job Description
The Marketing Assistant will support the development and execution of marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness of Vital Health's services. This role will focus on social media management, community outreach, creation of promotional materials, partnership engagement, and coordination of podcast guests for our Beyond the Label podcast. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, familiar with behavioral health, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement. Work aside marketing team and create schedule of content.
- Community Outreach: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community partners, referral sources, and local organizations.
- Marketing Materials: Coordinate the design, printing, and distribution of brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
- Podcast Support: Organize and schedule podcast guests, assist with promotions, and ensure timely communication with partners and speakers.
- Event Support: Help plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
- Administrative Support: Assist the CEO with marketing-related administrative tasks and communications.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all messaging aligns with Vital Health's mission, values, and branding standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered without a degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or outreach (experience in behavioral health or healthcare is a plus).
- Strong skills in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understand paid advertisement for traditional and non-traditional.
- Familiar with SEO, blogs and websites.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
- Familiarity with behavioral health terminology and community resources strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
