Job Description

At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected, a place where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves and novel ideas to work every day. As we foster a culture of inclusion throughout our company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world?

We believe building engineering is more than systems and structures, it's about powering progress and enabling innovation. As part of HDR's Building Engineering Services Group, you'll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience. We bring together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you're optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next-generation facilities, your contributions will help define the future of the built environment. This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.

The Marketing Information Manager serves as a central operational leader responsible for overseeing the intake, governance, prioritization, and lifecycle management of client opportunities within the Oracle ecosystem for the Building Engineer Systems (BES) business.

This role acts as the primary point of coordination between sector marketing leaders, program managers, project managers, sales stakeholders, and resource management teams to ensure opportunities are appropriately reviewed, routed, prioritized, and tracked through execution. While this position works closely with the existing Resource Manager, it does not own staffing decisions. Instead, it focuses on ensuring demand visibility, operational rigor, portfolio health, and alignment to business priorities.

Initially, this role will be embedded within one of BES's largest client programs, serving as the operational lead for opportunity management and program marketing coordination. Over time, the role is expected to evolve into a broader leadership function, providing governance and oversight across multiple BES sectors and programs while driving consistency in processes, reporting, and business operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and skilled at bringing structure to complex environments, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational excellence across a dynamic marketing organization.

Opportunity Management & Governance

  • Own the end-to-end operational management of marketing opportunities within Oracle.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for opportunity intake, qualification, prioritization, and tracking.
  • Ensure opportunities are routed appropriately and aligned with established business processes and governance requirements.
  • Maintain visibility into opportunity status, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure opportunities are progressing efficiently through established workflows.

Portfolio & Program Oversight

  • Manage the portfolio of marketing opportunities for a major BES client program.
  • Monitor opportunity volume, pipeline health, business priorities, and delivery readiness.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews to assess progress, identify risks, and drive resolution of operational issues.
  • Support program leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, Sector Marketing Leads, Sales teams, and Resource Management teams.
  • Align opportunity demand with execution plans while ensuring stakeholders have visibility into priorities and timelines.
  • Help facilitate decision-making when competing business priorities arise.
  • Act as a key liaison across multiple teams to drive operational efficiency and accountability.

Business Operations & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting processes, and operational metrics related to opportunity management.
  • Provide leadership with regular insights into opportunity trends, program performance, and business outcomes.
  • Support forecasting activities by tracking demand trends and anticipated opportunity volume.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and operational improvement.

Process Improvement & Scaling

  • Establish standardized operating procedures and best practices across BES programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance visibility, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
  • Help define governance models for opportunity management across the BES organization.
  • Support the scaling of operational processes as additional programs and sectors adopt common frameworks.

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to BES leadership on opportunity management and operational effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen business planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategy for operational governance across BES marketing programs.
  • As the organization grows, provide oversight and guidance for similar operational roles supporting other BES programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise marketing organizations.
  • Experience with Oracle Sales Cloud and reporting tools.
  • Expertise in opportunity lifecycle management, business operations, or portfolio governance.
  • Experience building process frameworks, dashboards, and operational reporting models.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing planning and program operations

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
  • Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
