Position Overview
GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI) seeks a Marketing Leader to join our growing team. This in-person leadership role will set the strategic direction for marketing, mentor and develop a team, and work closely with firm leadership to support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Collaboration
Lead firmwide marketing strategy with a forward-thinking, innovative mindset; partner with executive and BD leadership to align marketing priorities with firmwide goals.
Serve as a strategic advisor to technical, BD, and practice leaders; provide insight on trends, positioning, competitors, and client expectations.
Shape and evolve the firm's brand identity, messaging, and market presence across all marketing channels.
Guide long-term planning for marketing team structure, technology, and processes.
Collaborate across departments to champion a cohesive, consistent story and client-facing experience.
Business Development Alignment
Work closely with GSI Principals to strengthen capture strategies, go/no-go processes, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate on proposal, pursuit, and presentation strategy-ensuring quality, brand consistency, and win-focused messaging.
Support client engagement initiatives including events, conferences, outreach campaigns, and relationship-building programs.
Content, Branding, and Creative Direction
Oversee development of marketing materials including proposals, qualifications, brochures, digital campaigns, reports, and presentations.
Lead content strategy for website, social media, thought leadership, and email marketing to elevate visibility and differentiate the firm.
Ensure all materials meet brand standards, quality expectations, and narrative alignment.
Provide creative direction for campaigns, videos, digital assets, and event collateral.
Digital Marketing and AI-Driven Innovation
Implement and oversee digital marketing campaigns (social, email, SEO/AEO strategies, analytics dashboards, etc.).
Evaluate and integrate AI tools for content development, automation, analytics, personalization, and enhanced marketing productivity.
Establish workflows to support AI adoption and literacy within the marketing team and across the firm.
Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on analytics, insights, and industry best practices.
Team Leadership and Operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team; support professional development and upskilling.
Oversee marketing operations, including workflow management, resource planning, and quality assurance.
Manage vendor relationships (designers, printers, consultants, event support, etc.).
Create repeatable, scalable processes for proposal support, content creation, and multichannel campaign execution.
Set and manage the annual marketing budget, recommending strategic investments in tools, technology, and resources.
Events, Conferences, and Industry Engagement
Plan and oversee conferences, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and networking events to drive visibility and engagement.
Manage coordination of marketing collateral for industry events and BD opportunities.
Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and market engagement.
