Summary Description of PositionThe Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that support Cerrowire’s commercial growth, product portfolio, and brand presence in the electrical distribution and contractor markets.This role leads marketing programs across campaign management, product marketing, digital channels, and sales enablement. The Marketing Manager partners closely with Sales, Product Management, and Innovation teams to deliver compelling messaging, effective go-to-market strategies, and high-impact marketing campaigns.The ideal candidate is a strategic and organized marketing professional who can translate business priorities into actionable marketing programs while managing multiple projects and external partners.

Major Responsibility Areas and Duties

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support product launches, brand initiatives, and commercial growth objectives
  • Create campaign briefs, timelines, and success metrics to ensure effective execution and measurable results
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve engagement and ROI

Product Marketing

  • Support product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Cerrowire products and solutions
  • Partner with Product Management and Innovation teams to support new product commercialization and line extensions
  • Develop product collateral including sell sheets, product guides, case studies, videos, and launch toolkits
  • Support go-to-market planning for new products and strategic initiatives

Digital Marketing

  • Manage digital marketing initiatives including website content updates, SEO-focused content, digital advertising, social media, and email campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to develop content that drives awareness, engagement, and demand
  • Monitor digital analytics and marketing performance metrics to inform ongoing campaign optimization

Sales Enablement

  • Develop marketing tools and resources that support the sales organization, including presentations, product guides, competitive comparisons, and FAQs
  • Ensure sales teams and rep agencies have access to current marketing assets and product information
  • Support field activation efforts for promotions and new product introductions

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for creative, digital, and event agencies
  • Manage scopes of work, timelines, and deliverables across vendor partners
  • Ensure external work aligns with Cerrowire brand standards and messaging

Events & Tradeshows

  • Support planning and execution of Cerrowire’s presence at key industry events such as NECA, NEMRA, NAED, and regional trade shows
  • Coordinate booth planning, collateral, logistics, and event support
  • Travel as required to support major events and customer-facing marketing initiatives

Skills / Abilities

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives
  • Excellent written communication and content development skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience evaluating marketing performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
  • Collaborative team player able to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Creative problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Background in digital marketing, product marketing, and campaign management
  • Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel monthly to Cerrowire headquarters in Hartselle, AL

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial, electrical, or manufacturing industries
  • Familiarity with distributor and contractor channels
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools
  • Experience managing agencies or external marketing vendors
