PDT’s Marketing Manager oversees the marketing department and establishes consistent brand standards across multiple channels. They will ensure PDT’s marketing strategy remains innovative and relevant, providing up-to-date product and promotional information to clients and distributor partners. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will manage relationships with media and distribution partners and Brand Ambassadors while staying informed about market trends and research to make strategic decisions.  The Marketing Manager will lead a team consisting of PDT’s Digital Marketing Specialists, Graphic Design Specialist, and Social Media Coordinator.  
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the overall functions of the marketing department. 
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and best practices to build successful marketing strategies. 
  • Develop and present marketing plans, establish positioning, identify target audiences, and ensure the alignment of marketing strategies with company objectives. 
  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns across various channels and segments from conception to completion. 
  • Collaborate with graphic design specialist and social media coordinator to ensure innovative and cohesive design concepts for print, digital, and multimedia communications. 
  • Manage PDT product portfolio, to include SKU rationalization, as well as optimization of PDT product offering. 
  • Manage and continuously build out PDT’s new product pipeline based on insights gained from surveys, research, and focus groups.  
  • Conduct market research to ensure PDT’s new products will be successful upon launch. 
  • Attend dental industry trade shows to gather information on innovations, trends, branding, marketing, and new opportunities.  Present this information to PDT leadership post-show.  
  • Take new products from inception to product launch and continue to nurture products until potential is optimized. 
  • Lead cross-department collaboration for new product creation utilizing PDT’s new product SOP. 
  • Develop new marketing materials and strategies as new products are added. 
  • Complete full annual analysis of PDTs pricing versus competitors' MSRPs & sell prices.  
  • Utilization of PDTs software platforms, to include HubSpot, Canva, Shopify, Acumatica, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.  
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure SEO, AEO, and GEO are maintained.  
  • Guide the team in creating assets needed to provide the sales team with quarterly workflows in HubSpot.  
  • Oversee analytics reporting across multiple platforms to generate insights for campaign optimization and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Partner with the sales team to design, test, and improve lead nurturing tactics utilizing leads from shows, social media, continuing education programs, and online events.  
  • Create and manage the annual budget for all areas of the marketing department in line with the annual sales and marketing plan.  
  • Lead the development of creative briefs and guide creative direction for advertising and communications, including digital, print, and video assets. Meet or beat all deadlines for internal and external partners. 
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including media, manufacturer partners, and KOLs. 
  • Ensure consistency in design and branding across all materials and channels. 
  • Maintain inventory of “swag” items to meet deadlines and the needs of the sales team and partners. 
  • Design and coordinate modern, efficient, durable, and portable trade show booths for local, national, and international shows. 
  • Work with the sales team to develop customer-facing presentations and ensure alignment with sales strategies. 
  • Manage and mentor employees within the marketing department, creating a safe & supportive team environment.  
  • Maintain an internal calendar that clearly communicates emails, social media, and marketing events to all Sales & Marketing team members on an ongoing basis.  
  • Maintain current knowledge of multimedia/interactive design principles. 
  • Be prepared to travel internationally and attend meetings, events, and training sessions as required. Travel may be up to 3 times per quarter. 
  • Ensure resource allocation and staff development by working with Human Resources and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. 
  • On-board and train new marketing employees, providing a robust program that enables team members to assimilate quickly.  
  • Attend and support PDT sales and marketing meetings. 
  • Actively participate in all internal and external PDT meetings.  Preparing as needed prior to each meeting.  
  • Perform employee performance evaluations and manage corrective action processes as necessary. 
  • Ensure punctual attendance and adherence to safety and operational regulations. 
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by manager & PDT leadership.
