Job Description
Immediate need for a talented Marketing Manager - Media platforms. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Diego, CA (Hybrid). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Planning & Strategy – Partner with the media agency to develop strategic media plans using consumer insights, market trends, and data to create hypothesis-driven go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals.
- Campaign Activation – Support end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring media activations align with overall brand strategy while identifying innovative opportunities to maximize impact.
- Measurement & Analytics – Collaborate with analytics and agency partners to measure campaign effectiveness through brand lift studies, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and cross-channel performance reporting. Translate insights into future planning recommendations.
- Competitive & Market Analysis – Monitor competitor marketing activity, identify market trends, and provide strategic recommendations to improve campaign performance.
- Program & Budget Management – Assist in managing campaign timelines, budgets, media spend, and monthly forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Serve as a liaison between brand media, brand marketing, PR, influencer marketing, and performance marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Partnerships & Sponsorships – Evaluate and support strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and integrated marketing opportunities that strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
- 6+ years of experience in brand marketing, strategic media planning, marketing analytics, or consumer insights.
- Experience working with or alongside media agencies; agency experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of traditional and offline media planning, including Linear TV, Streaming TV, Audio, Online Video, and Out-of-Home (OOH).
- Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), brand lift measurement, media performance reporting, and cross-channel attribution.
- Experience supporting large-scale brand campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and business growth.
- Experience evaluating or managing brand partnerships and sponsorships.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and optimizing campaign performance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative marketing environment.
