The Role:
Roc Nation is looking for a Marketing Manager with a deep passion for spirits, culture, and hospitality to lead the marketing strategy and storytelling for a Roc Nation spirits brand. This role will shape how the brand shows up across culture—bridging influential voices, elevated nightlife, and curated experiences—to build a brand that feels both culturally relevant and inherently credible.
Working closely with the larger creative & digital team, this individual will drive integrated campaigns, cultural moments, and on- and off-premise activations that build desirability, distinction, and long-term brand affinity.
Key Areas of Focus
Brand Strategy: lead the development of brand campaigns, creative briefs, and seasonal programs rooted in craft, origin, and modern ritual. Shape a narrative that thoughtfully integrates cultural influence and authentic brand storytelling, ensuring the brand stands on its own while benefiting from aligned voices and platforms. Translate insights into refined positioning that resonates across both consumer and trade audiences, elevating perception in key moments of consumption
Campaign Development & Execution: own the creation of 360° integrated campaigns across digital, social, influencer, experiential, and traditional channels. Partner with Roc Nation creative team to build a cohesive brand world—balancing cultural visibility with intentional, high-quality storytelling. Collaborate with an in-house multimedia team to capture atmosphere, energy, and detail, ensuring all outputs feel considered and aligned with the brand’s tone and presence
Brand Ambassador & Influencers: leverage access to artists, content creators and partners to extend the brand’s reach. Develop partnerships beyond endorsement—creating shared moments, rituals, and experiences that deepen brand connection. Identify and collaborate with creators and hospitality voices who bring credibility within cocktail, nightlife, and cultural spaces
Trade Marketing:Develop retail and on-premise activation programs to support sales initiatives. Manage and develop POS materials, product education tools, and promotional programs for distributors and key accounts. Partner with sales and distribution teams to ensure the brand earns placement in key accounts and influential venues, reinforcing both trial and repeat engagement.
Experiential & Events: lead brand presence across music festivals, invite-only tastings, nightlife activations, and VIP experiences. Manage event budgets, planning, logistics, and post-event performance measurement. Ensure brand ambassadors deliver authentic, high-quality consumer experiences.
Agility & Innovation: bring forward fresh ideas rooted in culture, mixology, hospitality, and consumer behavior. Learn quickly when facing new problems, analyze both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiment and try to find new solutions. Stay sharp on category innovations, emerging platforms, and shifts in consumer expectations
Drive for Results: operate with focus and accountability to deliver high-impact work. Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and brand integrity
Leadership & Communication: communicate effectively across internal teams, agencies, distributors, and partners. Ensure alignment across all stakeholders while upholding a consistent brand voice across consumer and trade touch points
